Produce and develop different facade systems and details whilst also developing your own personal skills in design, engineering, and materials. Detyrat

Duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to:                         

• To suggest design solutions according to architects conceptual details and requirements.
• To check out drafting work, under the supervisor in appropriate manner (i.e. maintaining quality and productivity).
• To maintain the necessary specifications for standard and non-standard constructions, as directed by Senior Designer.
• To obtain all information related to the project from external (Building contracts, architects etc.) and internal departments, (Production, experts) in order to produce clear and accurate Plans, Elevation, Section Drawings, Shop Drawings (With minimum or no errors).
• To maintain all standards and rules, as well as specifications for standard and non-standard constructions (i.e. brackets, fixing details and interface details etc.).
• To achieve the shop drawings within the given programme.
• To provide design concept sketches/drawings for tenders as Senior Designer / Design Manager.
• If in doubt always seek Design Manager’s advice.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Kualifikimet

Required Skills/AbilitieS

• Demonstrated experience in providing drafting using AutoCAD software in delivering shop drawing packages / architectural tender drawing packages for facade / curtain wall projects.
• Knowledge of aluminium and glass required with proven experience.
• Fabrication / assembly drawing knowledge.
• Knowledge of 3D design software (Sketch-Up and AutoCAD 3d).
• Ability to conceptualize and design practical solutions.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to communicate professionally (written and verbal).
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Experience in fabrication drawing packages and completing 3D drawings using AutoCAD ideal.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Education and Experience

• BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field.
• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role.
