Job Description for Site Engineer

Competencies:

The main duties of the Site Engineer are to serve as a very important function for the company's investments and to report to the General Managers throughout the performance of tasks during TBP projects. Implements and supervises the works in accordance with the project design, technical specifications and applicable legislation, as well as safety and health conditions in the workplace.

• Control of compliance with design and details, including revision of details and providing technical solutions for implementation, as well as constructive and architectural detailing of various elements.
• Drafting and following the work schedule according to the project and organization plan.
• Preparation and control of all technical-legal documentation on the site, such as meeting minutes, measurement books, situations, marking and control records, etc.
• Control of quality and safety issues on site, ensuring all regulations are implemented according to the QA/QC and HSE management regulations, as well as other applicable rules.
• Control of subcontracting companies and taking measures to comply with legal requirements for technical safety on the site.
• Approval of materials implemented on the site.
• Ensuring the implementation of works in accordance with the company’s quality management policy.
• Taking over the works upon completion, conducting regular inspections.
• Preparation lists of incomplete or unfinished works as part of the commissioning process.
• Rigorous implementation of the contracting regulations.
• Rigorous implementation of technical rules and the dress code.
• Organizing and coordinating with the staff (technicians, foreman, hydraulic, electricians,) for works on the site.
• Leading the work, planning the work fronts for processes and different contractors, coordinating the work schedule between contractors where their work overlaps in specific phases.
• Identifying material needs and managing them effectively, as well as machinery and workforce.
• Preparing daily and weekly reports on relevant problems and progress.
• Periodic control of costs, in accordance with the budget.
• Identifying, planning, and calculating volumes for items in the budget and for new or unforeseen works.
• Report to the Managers for issues/topics in Site Construction.

Kualifikimet

Qualifications and experience:

Education: University degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in Civil Works (construction & finishing).
Skills:

• Ability to read, understand MEP projects, and coordinate works with these disciplines.
• Ability to read, analyze, and explain designs, business correspondences, contracts, procedures, and technical manuals.
• Ability to manage various projects and contracts included in construction projects.
• Ability to present issues effectively, excellent verbal and written communication, report preparation, etc.
• Principles and practices in the use of computer programs (CAD, EXCEL, MS-PROJECT, REVIT, etc.).
• Knowledge of the company’s main activities ;
• Native Albanian, fluent in English;
