Albel sa company was founded in 23-rd of March 1993 in Durrës. In the beginning the company had its activity in the field of trading in industrial products such as cement, iron, bricks and in food articles such as: sugar, rice, flower and pasta.

Albel sa has been the first Albanian company which during 1993- 2001 has worked in shipping trade in the line (Durrës- Vlorë- Shëngjin) and has been representative of various famous companies such as: “ TITAN”, “ Mili Agiorgjiu”, “ Makvel”, “Zagori”, “Alatini” ,”Finagrem”.

With 100% Albanian capital, in 1997 Albel s.a changed the direction of its activity by investing in the field of plastic polypropylene packaging, activity which continues now days also. The modern infrastructure of production lines in a 7,000 m2 surface, in which is developed all the activity of the company.

Since 2010, the company has expended its activity abroad Albania in various European countries such as: Italy, Greece, Poland, Spain, Macedonia, Kosovo etc. The company offers a wide range of productions mainly in light packaging as 0.5kg -50 kg used mainly in the food sector.

In 2011, the company expanded its production line to include FIBCs; Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers, first of its kind in Albania. These products are mainly used in the sector of construction, recycling, minerals and agriculture. The company has penetrated in European markets with the goal of becoming leading company in Europe and abroad.
