The continued success and growth of Barrister Global Services Network Inc.’s IT’s Extended Service Contract business relies heavily on our ability to expand and improve current operations. The Director of Supply Chain and Supplier Management is responsible for leading an organization of approximately team members including Front Line Teams, Operations management, and Supplier Management organizations. This position has direct responsibility for daily delivery of all key metrics concerning Quality, Cost, and Delivery within multiple fulfillment channels.
1.Responsible for Reverse Logistics: recovery, processing, sell-off of all salvage items

•Management of product recovery, sortation and maximizing financial recovery
2.Responsible for Product Replacement Strategy and Fulfillment: drive strategy to provide replacement product across all clients and products

This position works cross functionally to develop, maintain, and monitor the leading and trailing indicators ensuring success of the operations to the business operational and financial goals, including all SLA performance of several functionally diverse suppliers. In addition to direct relationship supplier management, this position provides leadership to a team (reporting from multiple locations) supporting the daily management and success of the processes. The Director is accountable for the development, consensus, and implementation of Barrister Global Services Network Inc. related projects through third party partners. This individual will partner with cross-functional/process owners and suppliers to identify and continually improve business processes within the team and the supply chain. This individual is responsible for ensuring all SLA’s, KPI’s (related to cost, NPS/Quality, Turn Time and Cost) and stretch objectives are met or exceeded at both contractual levels and to the Barrister Global Services Network Inc. client contracts. This role is responsible to effectively communicate results and corrective action plans to cross-functional and multi-level stake holders.
•Manage supplier relationships to ensure all SLA’s are met, established guidelines are followed and processes and procedures are aligned with Barrister Global Services Network Inc.’ s business strategy, objectives, Operating Principles and Core Values.
•Act as a Subject Matter Expert to Barrister Global Services Network Inc.’s internal stakeholders.
•Set Goals and direction to direct reports and their teams.
•Able to translate business requests to process solutions and implement.
•Identify and understand issue; lead issue resolution and pro-actively problem solve as appropriate.
•Provide leadership and support evaluating Supplier capabilities identifying opportunities for new products, processes or improvements and alignment to the company’s strategic objectives.
•Identify new suppliers as necessary; create and evaluate RFI’s; lead supplier selection, and implementation
•Negotiate contractual agreements with suppliers in conjunction with the legal department.
•Maintain effective business relationships with external suppliers, representing and communicating business objectives.
•Manage operational activities of suppliers to include communicating and resolving daily issues between internal organizations and suppliers, leading weekly cross-functional team calls to cover open issues, actively working/monitoring quality and performance issues.
•Conduct and support Monthly Business Reviews with suppliers providing guidance and leadership to the team. Review monthly supplier’s scorecards and KPI’s measuring all aspects of supplier’s performance including cost, delivery and quality. Identify issues and opportunities through trend analysis; NPS data and manage to resolution.
•Be able to build strong internal relationships and work collectively/collaboratively across the organization.
•Manage pilots to validate theories for process improvement
•Manage tactical decisions and actions to drive continuous improvement to cost, speed and quality
•Represent the process, team and suppliers when participating in cross functional projects; translate new client requirements to Supplier processes.
•Lead issue triage and resolution cross functionally; ensure timely diagnosis of root cause and document all issues through to resolution.
•Lead and direct team members, set goals, expectations, and success parameters.
•Ability to use data to develop and guide business decisions.
•Maintain a high level of morale and energy, within the operations team, and ability to point to previous experiences where they have “energized” a team to perform and deliver against stretch expectations.
•Ability to establish a high degree of accountability across their organization through both performance measurement and clear communications.
•Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to deliver strategic messages to senior leadership level positions.

•A proven track record of academic and professional excellence
•5-10 years of relevant work experience and a proven track record. Ideal work experience includes direct positions encompassing supply chain management, business process management, and supplier relationship management.
•Career must include expert knowledge of Barrister Global Services Network Inc. repair and return processes and business drivers and strong relationship management skills with proven ability to develop and manage contractual relationships with suppliers
•Breadth and depth of knowledge to understand and implement processes to support program changes, product enhancements, and clear client reporting.
•In depth understanding of supply chain operational metrics including TAT, NPS, and Quality Metrics.
•Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills and a background in Analytics and Reporting; ability to deploy best practices for automated reporting models and leverage Barrister Global Services Network Inc. data appropriately and an understanding of sensitivity surround program metrics
•Strong computer skills with a concentration in MS Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
•Possess strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
•Prior experience in leading successful projects and major initiatives.
•MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus
•Professional management training a plus
