• They work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support, ensuring that financial decisions are made in the best interest of the company.

Financial planning and analysis

• They analyze financial data, identify trends and patterns, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making. They also prepare financial forecasts and budgets, monitor actual performance against these targets, and make adjustments as necessary.

Cash flow management

• They monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring that there is enough liquidity to meet financial obligations and fund operations.
• They also develop strategies to optimize cash flow, such as managing receivables and payables, and making investment decisions.

Financial reporting

• They prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analysis to stakeholders, including senior management, board of directors, and external parties such as investors and regulatory authorities.
• They ensure that financial information is accurate, timely, and in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Risk management

• They identify and assess financial risks, such as market volatility, credit risk, and operational risk, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• They also ensure that the company has appropriate insurance coverage and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.

Managing the financial health and stability of the company.

• They provide financial insights and guidance to support decision-making, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and optimize financial performance.
