Job position:          DevOps Platform Engineer

Summary: We are looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer who is a motivated and tech-savvy person for our client, one of the leading international operators in the regulated gaming sector and is currently active in Italy, Morocco, Turkey, and Albania, with an offer that includes lotteries, betting, online games, and amusement machines. The Company operates internationally in the retail channel through a network of over 47,000 points of sale and in the online one with 1.8 million consumers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will join the team of Dev Sec Ops Governance and, in particular, in the IT Strategy & Enterprise
• Architecture area reporting directly to Dev Sec Ops Architect.
• You will have the opportunity to be involved in developing the Developer Experience Platform to take care of the whole CI/CD process and automate every task manually.

Work Experiences and required skills:

Necessary:

• You have at least two years of experience in (distributed and complex systems, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Test Automation, CI/CD, and Platform as a Service (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, …);
• You have a degree in either Computer Science or Information Engineer;
• You have excellent knowledge of Customize/Helm (YAML template), Jenkins/Tekton, Log stack architectures, Git/Git Flow, Java/Phyton OOP (Spring Boot or React is a must), Design pattern, Maven/Gradle and NPM, Linux Shell scripting knowledge;
• You are proactive, flexible, innovative, and determined;

Preferably, you also have:

• Previous experience in either Backend development as a Java developer with Spring Boot or Frontend developer (preferably React) and working and managing a remote team.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD, and CKS Certifications are a plus),
• Ansible/Terraform.

Language skills: 

• Very good command of the English/ Italian language (written and spoken).
